Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald lives in Chicago, but the week before he indicted I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, the Israel agent, he acquired more office space in Washington. His grand jury could not be extended, because it had been extended already. He is going to get a new grand jury. It's been reported that Fitz is just starting.

The cold fact that our pin-head is toast makes me feel warm all over with pleasure. The Wilson's attorney, Chris Wolf, said: "This situation is bad for our country and every citizen feels bad." He's wrong -- I'm a citizen and I'm delighted. The war is based on lies, so why are we still fighting it? That's the question that Cindy Sheehan keeps asking. Maybe John Kerry could tell Cindy why young men like her son have to keep dying in Iraq.

Bush is toast. Cheney and Rove are both toast. The neocons are toast. By the time Fitz is through with this treasonous bunch, and the last decisions are made on Wilson's suit against all of thoseRepublican rats -- barring any jail time -- Bush will retreat to Crawford, and will hide, knowing that Cindy is out there in the ditch, and The Hague is waiting.

LETTER TO THE WASHINGTON POST

I notice in your online WaPo Oct 29 you give space to David Rivkin and his dipstick partner Casey, writing right-wing distortions (lies) saying Valerie Plame wasn't a covert agent, and denigrating special investigator Patrick Fitzgerald.

How do they know Plame isn't a covert agent? Rivkin is known as the Croatian spy in the U.S., peeking into ambassador emails and reporting to Tudjman, who was facing charges in the Hague international court for war crimes. Rivkin should be investigated BY a special prosecutor instead of bitching about them. Someone should kick his fascist ass up around his tonsils. These two-bit repukes make decent Americans vomit. The GOP is stinking up our country. Thankfully, Fitzgerald and the inevitable suits the Wilsons will bring on will imprison these rats that your newspaper has been sucking up to for months.

With the Executive, Judicial, and Legislative branches of the U.S. government clenched tightly in their fists, the right-wing has smooth sailing. Here in Fresno, we have many writers actively supporting the right wing nuts, and denegrating liberals. According to Michael der Manuel, everything wrong in our life is the failure of the Liberals. Michael gets his material from Rush Limbaugh, who gets his material from Ed Gillespie, and the Fresno Bee looks at Michael as their darling. His ignorant and uneducated bleatings are faithfully published, whereas my factual letters and letters from other concerned Americans are ignored.

Readers of the Fresno Bee don't know the Republicans are in the process of erasing the Veterans Affairs. They don't know the Republican administration charges wounded soldiers for their meals in hospitals. They force combat troops to buy their own body armor. Are the Democrats doing that?

Isn't it somewhat surreal to consider the image of President Bush in the process of choosing a supreme court justice? I mean, this guy should be cooking at Denny's. Here is a guy with degrees from Yale and Harvard, whose ability to read, understand or articulate matches that of a third grader. Could it be those two super institutions of learning just handed those degrees over because his name was Bush? Shocking !!

It would even be amusing if Bush was just a clown, but our clown is deadly as hell. Talk about terrorists! No one has ever seen a terrorist for fifty years like the one we have in our White House right now. He makes Osama bin Laden look like a mere prankster, and he's very close to being another Saddam Hussein when it comes to killing his own people. It's also typical that our own Republican Party would like this guy, you know -- small government, balanced budget, no spending, good government...

BLOODY HANDS...

We grass roots, the democratic base, were befuddled to watch our elected Democratic members of Congress sitting and listening to George Bush telling them all about how Saddam Hussein did 9/11. Most of them took it bait and hook, no questions asked. We grass-rooters didn't believe him then and wouldn't believe him now even if he was selling oxygen to breathe -- we would have voted no because of who he was, but they bought it.

More than 2,000 dead American soldiers, 15,000-plus wounded and maimed, and 100,000 Iraqis dead, and -- oops! -- Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. These Dems have blood on their hands. Even our candidates for the White House in 2004, Johns Kerry and Edwards, have blood on their hands, along with Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Herb Kohl, Harkin, Dodd, Bayh, and more that I forget.

Now, after these terrible numbers, and with special investigator Patrick Fitzgerald peeling the fascist crust from these traitors; now some of these weak sisters in the senate are starting to apologize. Kerry, Dodd, Harkin, Charles Schumer, and maybe others, but isn't it strange that Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Herb Kohl don't have the guts to apologize? They know they were taken in by a dimwit who can't speak English beyond the three-year-old level, but more important, they're cowards.

John McCain is a supporter of Bush's war, but of course he's a Repuke, so he's a given. But not so these bloody-handed Dems. California's Diane Feinstein says she regrets voting for the war, but she owns a corporation doing business in Iraq. She belongs over with George and Karl and Rummy, and Dick and Scooter.

Where were OUR elected Democrats when Cindy Sheehan had the anti-war march in September -- were they hiding? Why, if they represent "the people," would they not stand with them when 7 out of 10 Americans believe the war is a mistake? We Rooters, the Democratic Base, are not going to vote for anyone with blood on their hands. We have Al Gore, we have Robert F. Kennedy, and we're with Cindy Sheehan -- we'll never vote for any warmonger. We'll sit it out.

America should be anti-war, period. We don't need a pentagon, or a defense department. We don't need an army, because if we behave ourselves, we won't have any enemies. America should be America, not Nazi Germany. I hope Fitzgerald puts these criminals away for 20 years, and places our dimwit pResident in a funny jacket.

PRO-WAR DEMS

The congressional Democrats hide from Cindy Sheehan and the anti-war movement. They have been threatened by AIPAC to be pro-war or lose Jewish campaign money. Evidently Israel likes our Iraqi Quagmire. Cindy had no luck with pro-war Schumer or Clinton or any pro-war Democrat. Diane Feinstein would not even talk to her and for good reason, Diane and her husband control the Perini Corp, which is doing a landslide business in Iraq. Diane's hands are covered with American blood.

We democrats who do not need AIPAC money are frustrated because we see everything that needs fixing but no elected Democrat seems interested in fixing anything. A lone individual is totally helpless because telephone calls, e-mails, faxes, and letters go into the round file, or the elected officials just ignore them. Their first problem is to get re-elected, then they start to evaluate the choices to keep themselves out of trouble -- while getting a piece of the action.

We here at Westcoastdems suggest every elected person should have an annual review -- a report card that they must pass every year or they're out.

BLUE VERSUS RED

Electorate counting marks Blue and Red states, but the real difference from Blue to Red is about cities. The split between dems and rebs have to do with urbanity. Utah is as red as it can be, but Salt Lake City is Blue.

Dallas is Blue and St. Louis and Atlanta are Blue. The difference sits between the cities and the rural areas. The Rubes think gays threaten the "institution" of marriage, but all the gays live in the cities. The Urbanities should concentrate on the vote boxes in the cities, the Rubes have always voted repug.

I'm not a homophile, but I'm not a gay-hater either. I don't care if my neighbor marries his dog. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Some people grovel around all their life in misery. They never get out of the sinkhole of poverty. They never rise to a better level of life. Why is this true? I would say there is several reasons. Number one is neglecting education. That's the first and worst. Second. Marrying too young. Third is hanging around with losers. The company one keeps matters. To get out of a quagmire of poverty and misery, one must put out an effort.

Getting an education is the most important of all. It takes desire and ambition to become someone with knowledge and skills, and a life of dignity and purpose. There is something else I have noticed: Tattoos are now very fashionable I see. On TV there are some horrible scenes, rings hanging from noses, baubles piercing the tongues, split tongues. It is a sin before the Lord ... Know ye not? Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. If they would put forth some effort to serve God, it would be wonderful. He never leads people into doing bizarre things.

Before we had TV we had the radio. Like TV, we had weekly comedians making us laugh. We had Jack Benny, George Burns and Gracie Allen, Red Skeleton, Our Miss Brooks, Milton Berle, and others I forget.

One show I really liked was "It Pays To Be Ignorant." This show had a panel and a host who would ask the panel -- "How many shoes make a pair?" The panel would then ask -- "High tops or low?" And so it went. The moderator would ask, "What kind of animals are used in horse races?" and the panel would counter-ask, "Running clockwise or vice-versa?" Moderator -- "If a car is going sixty miles per hour, how far will it go in one hour?" Panel -- "A coupe or a sedan?"

For some reason, this was funny as hell. But I guess you'd almost have to be there...

The un-American evil coterie running our country has a plan to occupy the entire Mid-East. The aim is two-pronged -- to grab all the oil, and satisfy the neo-con's purpose to support Israel.

When our latter-day Adolph HitlerJr., and his neo-cons invaded Iraq, ordering Saddam and his sons to leave their native country, they violated international laws set forth in the1907 Hague Convention. This violation of the law, plus the attempt to assassinate a leader of a sovereign state, also violated the Nuremberg Charter (1945), and the Nuremberg Principles (1950). In addition to this, the U.S. Army Field Manual prohibits occupying a sovereign state with one's army illegally, because it's a crime.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Powell, Rove, et al, will all be eventually and inevitably charged as war criminals, as Pinochet has been. All of these people will be tried in The Hague. They may not hang, but they should.

THE REAL VICTIMS OF WAR...

President Bush and his Republican friends in congress are planning to disband the Veterans Administration and close down or sell the VA hospitals. Neither the president nor the Republicans care about those who have served, or who are now risking their lives to further the Republican wars. The troops now fighting in Iraq must buy their own armor, and pay for their meals while in the hospitals. From the Republicans, the slogan "Support the troops" means "Support yourself." The Republican Chairman of the Veterans Affairs, Steve Baker, would like to see the VA hospitals disappear. It's quite obvious that any American who dons a military uniform for America is a victim. We already have almost 2,000 dead victims, and we're going to stay the course until we have 58,000 dead victims.

IT'S BROKE -- WE NEED TO FIX IT...

Why are there no anti-war senators in our government? Not even Barbara Boxer. We have a few anti-war representatives but NO senators. Why is that ?? Are they all pro-war? They don't even seem to notice, or care, that the majority of Americans are against this bloody illegal war. With hundreds of thousands of their constituents in the streets, the senators hide and remain silent. Why?

Are they afraid of AIPAC? Are they Israel senators instead of US senators? Do they actually think they can serve two masters? Senator Russ Feingold finally stood up and said we need a exit date -- he says we need to bring our military home, oh -- maybe in a year. Sorry, senator, that's not good enough, we need an exit yesterday.

Strange, but we elect these people, and we never hear from them again. We call, they ignore; we fax, they ignore it; we e-mail them, they don't answer -- hell, they don't even read it. Every elected official should serve just a one-year term. They should be reviewed every year.

Our system doesn't work, we should fix it. We need a revolution.

Hillary, like"Smilin" Joe Biden, thinks we don't have enough American troops over in Iraq to kill, they want more. These jingoist assholes think they're going to get re-elected. AT RISK...

Have you seen the chart that shows the approve/disapprove percentages of the war, state by state? Citizens of only two heavily approve of George Bush and his war -- Nebraska and Idaho. There are many states that heavily disapprove, many disapprove strongly and the rest are more or less 50-50. Americans do not like the Iraqi war any longer. They didn't like the lack of response to Katrina. They don't like paying $3 or more for a gallon of gas.

The polls tell us 70 percent of Americans are now against the war, but that's just people who have land-line phones. How many disapprove that have cellphones? The chart shows heavy disapproval in both Blue and Red states. Maybe we don't have Blue and Red states anymore. Every member of Congress who's not anti-war is at risk. The army is in trouble, all the 70-percent anti-war families are telling their children to avoid the military. The AFL-CIO is anti-war.

There is a nationwide movement to warn young Hispanics to avoid the military. Bush and his war is being bought only by the corporations, the ignorant Freepers, and the Evangelics, whose sons and daughters will be conscientious objectors. Remember the Vietnam slogan, "They started a war, and no one came." Cindy Sheehan talked to Hillary Clinton the other day, and said she sounded stupid. Hillary can forget "President." She better start worrying about "Senator."

WHERE HAVE ALL THE GOOD GUYS GONE?

How strange, Before the Seventies, we had Elvis, the Beatles, Fats Domino -- rock music was good. Starting with the seventies it became goofy. Three-and-a-half decades of obnoxious noise played in one chord, roll and rock as music, is terrible. We still have the classical music but no more popular music, as played by Harry James, or Glenn Miller. We had great country music, Ray Price, EddyArnold, George Morgan, but radio killed that off, as it did Gospel music. We still have great talent, but their material is uninspired junk. We have waving fingers Rap, as intelligent as it's audience. Yes, now we have entire rock and roll songs contained in one chord. It's apparent that Americans not only have a tin ear for politics, but for music as well.

VP Dick Cheney is a certified Nazi, a draft dodger, a liar, a corrupt thief and a war crimnial, and we all know it. But a prophet? When Cheney told Senator Pat Leahy, "Go f--k yourself!" PIG IN A POKE...

The phrase comes down the time ladder from Victorian times. The idea is that you buy a pig in a poke (sack) and then find you've bought oatmeal. Buying things off your computer is buying things like that. In a store you look and then you pay, whereas buying a pig in a poke is you pay and then you get to look. We have 22 Democrats who bought a pig in a poke when they voted to confirm Judge John Roberts. Three of them voted for Roberts twice, Leahy, Feingold and Kohl. On Tuesday (last) I could have told you there would be eleven Dems for sure that will vote to confirm. We Westcoasters are fully aware of who are our rats are. Patty Murray surprised us.
